Banbury
A Banbury studio built for serious ventures.
HJRJ designs works from Bloxham, ten minutes from Banbury Cross. The work ranges from the gym down the road to global brands' flagship events — same standard, same person doing it.
Banbury sits in an interesting position: a working market town on the edge of the Cotswolds, close enough to Oxford, Birmingham and London to serve all three, with a business community that ranges from independent venues to serious industrial operators. Our local work reflects it — EP Gym's multi-brand family in town, The Runway Social at Shenington airfield, The Hatchery estate at Middle Aston — alongside national work like Cox Automotive's events programme and ClearCorrect's launch at Millennium Point, Birmingham.
Being local means something specific here: the person you meet is the founder, the discovery session happens at your premises, and there's no account team between you and the work. For businesses that have outgrown DIY branding — or an agency relationship that ships juniors — that's the difference.

Selected work
Work from Banbury and beyond — a multi-brand gym family in town, an airfield venue at Shenington, an estate destination at Middle Aston, and a global automotive brand's UK events.
What we do
Brand Identity
Strategy, naming, visual language and guidelines — identity systems built to hold together everywhere they show up.
See the work →Digital Platforms
Websites and digital touchpoints designed around how a business actually sells — structure first, decoration second.
See the work →Brand Environments
Exhibition stands, stage sets, signage and spatial identity — the rooms where a brand is actually experienced.

Are you actually based in Banbury?
Yes — the studio is in Bloxham, just south of Banbury. Not a satellite page for an agency elsewhere: this is where the work happens.
Do you only take local projects?
No. Roughly half the work is local — Banbury, north Oxfordshire, the Cotswolds — and half is UK-wide, particularly brand environments: exhibition stands, stage sets and launch events delivered in Birmingham, London and wherever the venue is.
We've been using a bigger agency. Why switch to a founder-led studio?
Because seniority is the product. At a volume agency the person who wins the pitch is rarely the person who does the work. Here they're the same person — which is why clients like Cox Automotive kept the relationship running for over two years.
What does a project cost?
Scoped per project, proposal within days of a first conversation — scope, schedule and a number. We reply within one working day.
